The MX29LV640EBTI-70G is a 64m-bit (8M x 8/4M x 16) single voltage 3V only flash memory. It provides two methods for chip unprotect. The chip unprotect operation unprotects all sectors within the device. The MX29LV640EBTI-70G is recommended to protect all sectors before activating chip unprotect mode. All sectors groups are unprotected when shipped from the factory. The MX29LV640EBTI-70G provides hardware sector protection against Program and Erase operation for protected sectors. The sector protect status can be read through Sector Protect Verify command.
